Option 1: Tampons
Tampons are small, practical, and have been a given for many women for years.
The problem when traveling:
They must be changed regularly.
And that is exactly where the search for a suitable restroom begins all over again. The longer you are on the move, the more often you have to think about it.
So the period product itself is small – but the mental attention it requires can be quite large.
Option 2: Pads
With a pad, you at least don't have to deal with insertion.
On the other hand, many women find them uncomfortable when sitting for long periods.
Especially on heavier days, moisture can also become noticeable relatively quickly.
And the same applies here:
After a few hours, you must find a restroom again and change the pad.
So, the basic problem remains the same.
