Our Story & Mission

With my•mense, we want all women to feel completely safe and comfortable during their period – whether in everyday life, during sports, or while traveling. Because: It's not a flaw, but a natural part of life. And that's exactly how it should feel.

From Friends to Founders

That's us!

We are Regina and Isi - two best friends for over 15 years. Regina is a doctor, and Isi is a health and nurse. We are connected not only by our friendship, but also by our passion for medicine and women's health.

Tampons & Co?

Through our conversations—and our work in the hospital—it became increasingly clear to us: conventional menstrual products are neither truly comfortable nor really practical for many people. We were never fully satisfied ourselves either—regardless of whether we used pads, tampons, or cups. So, we began trying out period underwear. We thought the idea was brilliant: finally, a product that combines sustainability, comfort, and security. But in practice, we weren't convinced by these either—the material, fit, and absorbency all had room for improvement. And that is exactly where our idea was born: we can do better!

1 year of testing, tinkering, learning

From this point on, an exciting and, above all, intensive process began for us. For over a year, we researched, tested, compared fabrics and cuts, gathered feedback, and wore countless samples. It was a long journey full of ideas, detours, and learnings – but that's precisely what kept us motivated to persevere.

Boom - my•mense is born

And then it was there – the moment our idea became my•mense. For us, it's more than just a product: It's period underwear that combines medical knowledge, everyday practicality, and comfort. Developed by women, designed for women – so that every woman can live her days as she is: strong, self-assured, and free.
